Music Magic for Two Pianos: Boaz Sharon & Pavel Nersessian

We invite you to join us for a FREE concert on Sunday, November 2nd, at the Falcetti Pianos Performance Hall, to experience performances from the talented Boaz Sharon & Pavel Nersessian. No RSVP needed. The show begins at 4pm.

Boaz Sharon is an internationally-known pianist, teacher and member of international piano juries. In 2021-22 he was judge at the Budapest Liszt International Piano Competition and performed and gave masterclasses and lectures at the Royal Academy of Music, London, Rice University, Northwestern University, Cambridge University, New York City Harvard Club and Bangkok, Thailand. In the coming year Sharon will perform and teach in Brazil, South Korea and Israel. For several years he was the Director of the Young Pianists Artist Program at Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

“His performance brought a veritable roar of approval from the audience,” wrote the Irish Times, after Pavel Nersessian received the 1st Prize in the GPA Dublin International Piano Competition in 1991. Being one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation in Russia, he is known for his ability to play equally convincingly in the whole palette of the piano repertoire. He won prizes in the Beethoven Competition in Vienna in 1985, the Paloma O’Shea Competition in Santander, and the Tokyo Competition.
